Obituaries

​Eleanor R. Senour, 91, of South Bend, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 16th, 2023 at Cardinal Nursing and Rehabilitation. Eleanor, or Ellie, as her friends called her, was born June 13, 1931 to the late Milford and Imogene Roberts in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She is survived by her grandchildren; Sean (Kim) Norris, Ashley (Joe) Mayer, and her great grandchildren; Gavin and Alexandria.Eleanor was the beloved mother to her daughter, Diane, who followed her to be with the Lord six days after Eleanor's death. They are forever at peace together and will be dearly missed.Eleanor was a Realtor for Remax for many years. She was also a receptionist at Jones Obenchain and loved working with the public. She enjoyed dancing, singing, playing cards, and just being with her family and friends.There will be no service for Eleanor at this time. The family will have a private family gathering for both Eleanor and her daughter at a later date.
