Scottie James Joseph

Scott James Joseph, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away at his home in Bloomfield Indiana on June 22nd, 2026, at the age of 44. Scott was born in West Virginia on June 6th, 1982 to Jackie Kite and the late James Joseph. He will be remembered for his generous heart and for always being there when it mattered most.

At a young age Scott took over the family business Joseph's Shoe Repair and maintained it for 20 years. Scott was driven to help his community and share his knowledge with others.

Scott acquired a wide range of interests and hobbies throughout his life. Scott enjoyed spending time outdoors including camping and fishing. He also enjoyed tinkering whether it be on small machinery like a computer or large industrial machines. Scott also spent a majority of his time playing video games whether it was with his son Cory or the plethora of friends he has made along the way. Throughout his time playing games Scott had also taught himself how to code those same games and took it up as a hobby. Above all these hobbies, He enjoyed spending time with his close friends and family the most as it brought him the most joy. He was an extremely selfless and caring person.

He is survived by His Wife Heather Joseph of 25 years, His Son Cory Joseph (Rachel), His Grandson Kai Joseph, and His mother Jackie Kite (Paul).

Scott will be cremated, and a celibration of his wonderful life will be held at a later date.
