Ronald Gene Huffman

Ronald Gene Huffman, age 79, passed away July 6th, at the Hospice House in Bloomington Indiana with his wife Karen at his side.. Born October 31, 1943 in Indianapolis, Ron attended Fairview Elementary School, Bloomington Junior- Senior High School and Indiana University where he studied History and Political Science, both life-long passions for him. He served his country in the U.S Air Force for seven years during the Viet Nam conflict. He chose a career in business, owning multiple rental stores throughout the U.S and later a pet grooming business in Jacksonville Florida. He and Karen retired to Mexico where they loved the climate, the natural beauty surrounding them, and most of all the people. He is survived by his wife Karen, children Tracy, Laura, Chris, Michelle, and Jesse and grand children Paden and Lily and by his sister Jackie (Huffman) Morris and brother-in-law Steve Morris. No memorial service is planned at this time.
