Robert Charles Stowe

Stowe, Robert Charles (1946-2026)

Robert C Stowe, 79, a devout Christian from Bedford, IN passed at Hospice House in Bloomington, IN returned to God on March 19, 2026.

He was born at St. Vincent Indianapolis in 1946 to Jack Roland and Betty Jean Stowe (Hurst). Robert attended George Washington High School before Engineering at (Rose Hulman). He worked as Public Works Director. He also served in his country in the Air Force.

Robert was a devoted Christian who cherished his Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ and took solace in knowing the Lord was watching over them.

His Christian values informed every aspect of his life and molded him into the beloved person he was.

Robert was preceded in death by Sue Stowe (Ramsey)(Wife), Jack Stowe (Father) Betty Jean (Mother), Dorothy Lyle (Aunt) who they will meet again in Heaven, and is survived by Loving Partner Mae Stowe (Mack) Seth Stowe (Son) Jennifer (Daughter in-law) Brandon & Lucas (grandsons), Beth Dickerson (Daughter) John (Son in-law) Madison, Peytan, Piper (granddaughters), Jeremy Stowe (Son) Chaille (Daughter in-law) Allison & Ryan (grandchildren), Will Ramsey (Son) Tyler & Ryan (grandsons).
