Robert L. Jones

Robert L. Jones, 87, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at Northwest Manor Health Care Center in Indianapolis. He was born in Huntington, Indiana. Bob gave 4 years of his life to the US Navy and lived his life filled with laughter, generosity and the love of racing and painting. He was preceded in death by his wife (Sylvia A. Jones), Parents (Anthony L & Anna A Jones), Son (Ronald L. Jones), Stepdaughter (Julie Bontempo Ward), Siblings (Sue, Pat, and Tom), and Grandchildren (Candace M. Bontempo, W. James Bontempo). He is survived by his 3 Children (Robert (Bub) G. Jones, Lisa L. Fett, and Lori A. Jones) and 3 Stepchildren (Gregory W. Bontempo (Susan), Lori K. Schmidt (Mark), and Jeffery A. Bontempo (Patti), 19 Grandchildren, Several Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held at the SW Conservation Club, 5703 Bluffton Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 on February 21, 2026, 2 pm to 5 pm with Military Honors at 3 pm.
