In Loving Memory of Nancy Raines

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Raines, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Nancy leaves behind a legacy of incredible strength, unconditional love, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Nancy was the cherished wife of Steven Scott Raines. Together they shared nearly 25 beautiful years of marriage and were looking forward to celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary this September. Their love was one built on friendship, loyalty, and unwavering support through every joy and every hardship.

Nancy was a true fighter. She courageously battled multiple brain tumors over the years with remarkable determination, grace, and resilience. Through every challenge, she remained a source of strength and inspiration to those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Gran.

Nancy is lovingly survived by her mother, Laura Gran; her devoted husband, Steven Scott Raines; her son, Konan Crisp; and her treasured grandchildren, Domaniece, Destiny, Jakob, and Konan Jr.

She also leaves behind her stepchildren, Danielle Buchtel and Dustin Hart. Danielle’s children—Allen, Hailey, Malachi, Clare, Klowey, Aaden, Luke, and Paytyn—and Dustin’s children, Briar and Leighton, were all blessed to know her love and kindness. Nancy was also the proud great-grandmother of three great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

She is also survived by her brothers, Mike and Tim, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

Nancy had a special place in her heart for animals and adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She found happiness in the simple moments of life, especially cheering on her husband as he raced at the track. She was his biggest supporter, always standing proudly by his side.

Those who knew Nancy will remember her gentle heart, quiet strength, fierce resilience, and the deep love she poured into her family. Her courage through years of illness showed everyone around her what true perseverance looked like.

Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we take comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended and that her love will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched. Her memory will forever be carried in the hearts of those who loved her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
