Melissa Delisle

Melissa Delisle passed away Friday, September 11th. She is survived by her daughter, Love Gabbard, and her sister, Tara Rodriguez.

She was a very loving mother, and her daughter was her world. She will be missed greatly by those who knew her. Lissa and Love had that special bond that all of us want with our children, for they had much to do in this life together.

The following is from Love as a lasting message to her mama:

“She was a great and lovely mother. She was the bestest mother out there, supported me through and through. We’ve gone through difficult times, and we’ve had some arguments here and there, but that isn’t the point. The point is, she was just an awesome, strong mother, and I was her whole world. She was everything I needed in life. Helped me through my depression, anxiety, and just… a lot. I just wish she didn’t go so soon. We had so much to do. But she must’ve been happy her suffering could come to a stop. I’m sure she’s also doing well up there with Grace. Loved her so, so, so much, to the moon and back down. I miss you, Mama."

This sums up everything. Melissa Delisle, loving, caring, beautiful in soul and spirit, who would’ve given anything for her loved ones or strangers. You were one of the greats and will be missed through and through… gone too soon.
