Melisa Harp

Melisa J Harp, age 73, passed away peacefully May 20, 2026 at her home in Marietta, Indiana, with her family by her side. Melisa graduated from Southwestern High School in Shelby County and the University of Indianapolis. She retired as an RN from Columbus Regional Hospital after a career in nursing that lasted over forty years.

She is preceded in death by her mother Betty J. Sexton, father Cletus Sexton, grandmother Martha Vansyoc, and sister Michelle Snapp all of Marietta.

She is survived by her husband Tim Harp, her two sons Myles Dover and Marek Dover, two sisters and two brothers, and seven grandchildren.

She had many loves but her main love was her family.

She will be sorely missed!
