Lois Marie Fisher Tirmenstein

Lois Marie Fisher Tirmenstein passed away August 22, 2025. Lois was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Otto and Mabel (Noe) Neukam. She met her first husband, William at Indiana University in 1954. They then married and made their home in Indianapolis. Lois loved dogs, old movies, Star Trek, gardening, and her family that grew to include 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She worked many years at the City County Building and with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. She met and married Capt. Robert Tirmenstein. She has been preceded in death by husband, William, son, William Jr., daughter, Martha Vaugn, brother Matthew, and husband Robert Tirmenstein. She is survived by sister, Norma Russell, daughters, Laura Shuck, Teresa Fieler, and son, David Fisher. A Memorial of Life will be held this fall to celebrate her life, details of which have not been finalized yet.
