Larry James Beezley

February 10, 1956 — June 6, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Larry James Beezley, who left us at the age of 69 on Friday, June 6th, 2025, at his home in Spencer, Indiana. Larry was born in England at Wimpole Park Air Force Hospital on February 10th, 1956, to Melaney R. Macy and James T. Beezley. Larry was a husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a cherished friend to many. His kindness and presence touched the lives of all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Colleen Beezley, and his three beloved children: Caritta Beezley, George Beezley, and Clifton Beezley. He also leaves behind a lasting legacy of love through his 13 cherished grandchildren: Mckenzie Brandt, Christian Beezley, Owen Elkins, Braydon Beezley, Micheal Brandt, Andrew James Beezley, Stephen Beezley, David James Beezley, Charles Beezley, Elijah Beezley, Emily May Beezley, Anna Beezley, and Bella Beezley. In addition, he is lovingly remembered by his mother, Melany Ramey; his stepfather, Robin Ramey; and his sister, June Hembree.

Larry had a deep love for animals, especially his cherished Maine Coon cats and Bullmastiff dogs. His gentle and caring nature was evident in the way he nurtured and adored his pets, who brought him endless joy and companionship. He never missed an opportunity to share photos of them, proudly showcasing their personalities to everyone he met. His favorite saying, 'Do you like cats?' was a reflection of his affection for his furry friends.

Beyond his love for animals, Larry was a talented craftsman. He skillfully created steel targets and distinctive yard art, often infused with whimsy and originality. His artistic creations brought character and charm to outdoor spaces, embodying his creativity and playful spirit."

A celebration of life will be announced later time.
