Kai Von Brantley Jr.  

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kai Von Brantley Jr., who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 47. 

Kai was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a warm and caring person who was very proud of his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He loved to cook and host gettogethers, bringing people together over good food, laughter, and conversation. Kai also enjoyed helping his nephew practice baseball and was always willing to show up for the people he cared about. 

Kai had a way of easily making friends and making those around him feel welcome. He was generous with his time, his heart, and his love. He never hesitated to tell his family that he loved them, making sure those closest to him knew just how much they meant to him. Kai will be remembered for his loving heart, his generosity, his sense of connection with others, and the many memories he created with those who loved him. 

Kai is preceded in death by his son, Christian; his maternal grandparents; and his paternal grandfather. 

He leaves behind family and friends who will forever cherish his memory and the love and laughter he brought into their lives. 

Rest peacefully, Kai. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
