Jonathan David Sindlinger passed away on September 11 at his home in Columbus. He is survived by his son David (Haleigh), two grandsons, his sister Liz (Curt) Curtis and his parents Verne and Phyllis Sindlinger.
Jon was born on February 6, 1965 in Youngstown, Ohio. He spent his early years in Indianapolis and his teenage years in Appleton, Wisconsin, graduating from Appleton High School West in 1987.
He met his partner, Tina, in Perryville, Missouri where their son David was born. When Tina passed away, they moved to Nashville, Indiana and he graduated from Indiana University.
He worked in several schools including Bloomington North High School and Brown County Schools as classroom assistant and assistant football coach before moving to Columbus.
He completed his master's degree from WGU and currently had a position with them, advising and mentoring students.
He loved football and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
His life centered around David and family, and was so proud to be "pawpaw" to Lucas and Michael.
He will be missed and remembered for his love of family, loyalty to job and friends, interest in politics, dry sense of humor and ability to hang in there.
