Gregory Jon Lyons

Gregory Jon Lyons, age 71, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, died on Thursday, December 1, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky. Greg was born on January 31, 1951 in Madison, Nebraska, to the late Eugene and Betty (Hughes) Lyons. He is survived by his brother, Gary Lyons, and sister, Pam Tanigawa (Marty), and two nieces, a nephew and one grand-niece.
Greg grew up in Omaha, Nebraska where he received an A.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology which led to a career as an electronics technician for over 26 years for various companies in the Midwest, eventually settling in Kentucky in 2014.
No services are planned at this time. As Greg was an avid cat lover, those who would like to honor him with a memorial contribution are asked to contribute to the Nebraska Humane Society, where Greg volunteered as an adoption counsellor.
