Gerald Dean DeVore

Gerald Dean DeVore Jr., 71, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Gerald was born to Gerald DeVore Sr. and Reavia (Savage) DeVore at Coleman Hospital in Indianapolis on December 25, 1954. He attended Ben Davis High School and Arsenal Technical High School. He married Wanda Finney on October 27, 1978, and together they shared 47 years of marriage. He earned an Associate of Arts from Indiana Christian University on June 24, 2012, and a Bachelor of Arts from World Harvest Bible College on June 7, 2014.

Gerald dedicated his life to following Jesus Christ and serving his family and the church. He ran the audio and visual systems for several churches, always glad to put his technical gifts to work behind the scenes. He enjoyed all things aviation, automobile racing, technology, and gadgetry, with a special love for warbirds, Indy cars, and NASCAR.

Gerald worked for many years as a heating and air conditioning installer and repairman before sharing his expertise as an instructor at Fortis College. He founded Gerald's All Seasons Heating and Air Conditioning in Ingalls, Indiana, serving the community for many years. In recent years he discovered a passion for 3D printing and founded Dreams and Things, a small business creating 3D-printed novelties and keepsakes that he delighted in sharing at craft fairs.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda DeVore; his children, Christopher (Cassie) DeVore and Matthew (Natasha) DeVore; five grandchildren, Weston, Camden, Kyle, Daxton, and Clara; his mother, Reavia DeVore; his sister, Patricia Garland; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald DeVore Sr.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Aletheia Fellowship & Ministry Center, 2505 Faith Drive, Anderson, Indiana, with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m.

Gerald will be deeply missed, and we look forward to the day we meet again in Heaven.
