Donna Elise Reel

Donna Elise Reel, 76, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

She was born December 1, 1949 in Brownsburg, IN to Lawrence C. Reel and Carolyn (Russell) Reel. She was 1 of 5 children and was the youngest daughter of the family. She is survived by her Twin sister Evelyn Rowe (Camby, IN), and her son Bryan Reel (Indianapolis, IN). Her parents, sister Linda Dickison, and brother Michael Reel preceded her in death.

She held many jobs and various positions throughout her life but her greatest accomplishment was beating the odds by becoming a successful single mother. She loved to go to garage sales and relished her treasure hunts at the local Goodwill.

Other Survivors include Her nieces and nephews… Jim Warren (Rebekah) of Trafalagar, IN, Scott Warren (Brooke) of Greenwood, IN, Jamie Fitzpatrick (Eddie) of Martinsville, IN. Her brother Lawrence Reel of Vincennes, IN, her grandson Nick Reel of Cincinnati, OH. She also leaves behind extended family in Oklahoma City, OK, Wilmington, NC and includes three great grandchildren in Indianapolis, IN.

Services are private and the family is asking to respect their privacy during this time .
