David Leon Myers, age 81, of Cloverdale, Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026. Born on August 2, 1944, in Gosport, Indiana, David lived a life marked by devotion to his family, a love of music, and a steadfast loyalty to his beloved Indiana teams.

David is survived by his daughter, Janet Matthews; his grandchildren, Megan Holland (Mitch) and Michael Matthews; his great-grandchildren, Ben Holland and Reece Holland; and a loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Bernardine Myers, and his siblings, Maxine, Nila, and Larry.

A man of many passions, David was known for his skill on the guitar, which brought joy to all who had the pleasure of hearing him play. He was a devoted fan of Indiana Hoosiers basketball and the Indiana Pacers, and could always be found cheering on his teams with enthusiasm and pride. Above all else, however, David cherished his family. He was a steady presence, a loving grandfather, and a man whose warmth and character left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

David Leon Myers will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and a faith that carried him through life. As he always said, "God is good." May he rest in peace in Heaven.
