Christy Ann Davis, 54, passed away on July 2, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Born on December 4, 1971, in Huntington, Indiana, Christy was the daughter of Buddy and Jane Minniear. She dedicated her career to caring for others as a phlebotomist at Dukes Memorial Hospital, where her compassion and strong work ethic touched the lives of many. She genuinely loved her work, and it gave her purpose each day.

Above all else, Christy cherished her family. Her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother to Courtnee, Karmen, Chase, and Caine, whom she loved with all her heart. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Cassie, and son-in-law, Zachary; her longtime companion, Apolonio; her niece, Brittni-Lynn; and her faithful dog, Chico. She also leaves behind many friends and extended family members who will remember her kindness, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need.

Christy was preceded in death by her parents, Buddy and Jane Minniear; her sister, Theresa; and her beloved dogs, Trouble and Guapo.

Those who knew Christy will remember her as a thoughtful, caring woman who always put others before herself. She treasured time spent with family and friends and found joy in simple pleasures, especially bowling and playing bingo. Her warmth, selflessness, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
