Christy (Chris) William Crooks

Christy (Chris) William Crooks of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025 at the age of 68. 

Born on April 15, 1957, Chris was the beloved son of Jimmie T. and Phyllis Jane Crooks. He was a devoted father to his sons Christopher Crooks and Joshua (Jenna) Crooks, and a proud grandfather to 8 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 

Chris will be remembered for his quiet strength, kind spirit and patience. He was a steady presence to all who knew him. 

He is survived by his brother Carlton Crooks and sister Cherri Winn Riecke. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Crooks and sisters Catherine Martin and Linda Sue Crooks. 

A private ceremony will be held to honor his life.
