Carol Ann Straub

Carol Ann Straub (nee: Mitchell) born June 7th,1944 died peacefully in her sleep on October 9th. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Mitchell.

Carol is survived by her two children, Brian Straub (Jenny) and Susie Lacey (Dave). She delighted in her family of grandchildren, Marlee, Jocelynn and Ryann Lacey, along with Ian Straub. The love for her family was limitless, and she took great pride in their accomplishments and the happiness they brought to her life. She was always their biggest cheerleader!

Carol was an amazing Occupational Therapist where she gave so much of her time, kindness, and loving care to her patients for over 40 years. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, creating art, and had a tremendous thirst for knowledge. She was a proud graduate of Lebanon Highschool and as an alumnus of The Ohio State University, she loved watching their football games. She was also a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.

There will be a celebration of her life on Monday, October 20th from 3:00-6:00 at 611 Gathering Place, 611 Harrison Avenue, Harrison, OH. A Memorial Service will be held on October 20, 2025, from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM at 611 Gathering Place 611 Harrison Avenue
