Passed peacefully on February 27, 2025, surrounded by family and friends at Jewish Hospital.

Brad was a life-long boat captain who had a deep love for the Ohio River, where he spent much of his life working and creating lasting memories. He never met a stranger and built a vast network of friends from all walks of life. Brad also enjoyed time at his home in Tarpon Springs, Florida, where he loved boating with friends and living life to the fullest. 

Brad leaves behind his loving partner, Renee Rabell (Nolan), step-father, James E. Mattingly, sister, Jolene Carman (Jacob), father, Bradley R. Perkins, two dogs, Sam and Hunter, and many dear friends who will miss him greatly. Brad was preceded in life by his beloved mother, Naomi L. Mattingly.

Bradley's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A celebration of Brad's life will be planned for late spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association, www.americanheart.org, or the American Kidney Fund, www.kidneyfund.org.
