Beverly Ann Mena, 64, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on January 30, 1961, in Monterey, California, to Mary Helen (Gonzalez) Mena and Robert Mena.
She married Stephen R . Zook, and together they raised three children- Matthew (Ashley) Zook, Sarah Michelle Zook, and Andrew (Brie) Zook-during more than 25 years together in California before relocating to Indiana in the early 2000s. Beverly also played a nurturing role in the lives of her nieces Megan, Shawna, and Tonya, as well as several nephews. She was especially instrumental in helping raise her grandson Daniel for several years during his youth.
Her grandchildren: Daniel Long of Placerville California; Lincoln and Spencer Zoo, Destiny Stover and Maddie and Lilly Zook of Columbus, Indiana-all were the joy of her life.
Beverly's home was a place of warmth, laughter, and the comforting aromas of traditional Mexican dishes. Though raised Catholic, Beverly found spiritual fulfillment attending Christian church services in Columbus, Indiana. She also had a fondness for lighthouse décor, which brought charm and serenity to her home.
Beverly will be remembered for her selflessness, loyalty, andthe lasting love she gave to all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held locally at a later date and time to be determined.
