Betty L Ross

Bloomington, Indiana – Betty L. Ross, 86, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born on October 2, 1939, in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, to the late Joseph and Gertie Buchanan.

Betty was a devoted family woman who cherished her loved ones above all else. She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Scott) Robbins of Bloomington, Indiana; her granddaughters, Abigail Robbins of Bloomington, Indiana, and Brittany Colglazier of Salem, Indiana; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nephews, Mark (Patty) Buchanan of Columbus, Indiana, Troy (Kim) Buchanan of Columbus, Indiana, and Jeff Buchanan of New Albany, Indiana, and her niece, Diana Buchanan of Louisville, Kentucky. Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, Joey Buchanan and Jimmy Buchanan and her husband Harlan D. Ross.

She was a passionate fan of UK Basketball and NASCAR Racing; Betty brought enthusiasm and joy to those around her. She loved her family deeply and will be greatly missed by all who knew her
