Barbara Jean (Eastin) Wilson

Barbara Jean (Eastin) Wilson of Bloomington, IN went to be with Jesus peacefully on December 23, 2025 at the age of 92.

Barbara was born September 20th, 1933 on a farm North of Newman, Illinois. In 1951 she married the love of her life Donald E Wilson at the age of 17, 3 days before her high school graduation. Together they raised two sons, Michael and Mark Wilson.

She was a devoted Christian, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a loving friend who never missed a birthday or chance to support her loved ones. She loved providing "grandma care" in her home for a select few children who became family. She loved every baby she ever saw. Barbara had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and was known for her kindness and generous spirit toward others. She enjoyed gardening, baking cookies, sewing, crocheting, puzzles and gathering with friends and family and feeding them well.

Barbara is survived by her brother Larry Eastin, her son Mark, her 5 grandchildren Nathan, Laura, Christopher, Corinne and Bradley, and her 7 great grandchildren and all the children she treated as her own. She was preceded in death by her husband Don, her sisters Bonnie and Genevieve, and her son Michael.

Barbara requested a family graveside service at Fairview Cemetery located North of Newman, Illinois at a date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers or gifts please consider a donation to St Judes Children's Hospital in her honor.
