Anthony Paul Banks

Anthony Paul "Tony" Banks passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was 47 years old. Born in Knox, IN, on September 4, 1975, he was the youngest, with five siblings, born to the late Eugene Banks and the late Juanita (Salyer) Philpot. Tony was a friend to all who ever met him. He had a smile that was contagious for anyone near him. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife Sherry Mae and his little son "Franky" Eugene Banks; and Tony was also the proud father of Cody Anthony Banks of South Bend, IN, and Brittany Nichole (Israel) Garcia of Plymouth, IN. Tony was the grandfather of three, Cody Cilas Banks, and Lorenzo and Leonardo Garcia. Two of Tony's sisters preceded him in passing, Anita Banks and Regenia Agee. He is survived by the following siblings: Steven (Ginger) Banks of Tennessee, Michelle (Darren) Wheeler of Georgia, and Brenda (Jorge) Pagan of Plymouth, IN. Tony enjoyed being the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
