Annabelle Duncan (Boyles) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on June 11, 2025

She had been a resident of Monrovia IN for 12 years. Annabelle was born November 11, 1935 in Omaha Nebraska, the daughter of the late William & Kathleen Boyles. She grew up and graduated high school in Hutsonville, IL. She married Harold D. Duncan, and moved to Indianapolis IN, where they raised 5 children.

Annabelle attended Indiana School of Practical Nursing. She graduated with excellent grades while juggling 8 hours daily at school, studying at home, caring for her children, and home. She accepted a position at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis until she retired, then went on to work 12 more years at West Park retirement village. She was a very kind, caring person, that was loved by everyone that knew her. She enjoyed going to church and reading her bible. Her faith was a source of inspiration and guidance throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Duncan and her son Jack D. Duncan.

Annabelle is survived by remaining children: Diana (June) & Joe VanZandt, Jeff Duncan, Andrew Duncan, Tim & Pandora Duncan. Grandchildren: Jason & Thomas Duncan, Michelle & Josh Brandman, Sean Mullins, Jeffry Duncan, Christopher & Cassie Duncan. Many Great grandchildren & Great Great grandchildren Sister: Donna Wright & family
