Linton

Angela Marie Gibson (Lehman), 60, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on October 31, 2026.

Angela was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and a woman who had a love for the simple things in life. She especially enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether tending to her garden, mushroom hunting, or simply enjoying a beautiful day outside. These were the moments that brought her happiness and allowed her to enjoy the beauty around her.

Family was an important part of Angela’s life. She was the mother of two sons, Steven and Mitchell, and a grandmother to two granddaughters, Avaree and Kennedy, whom she loved dearly. Her family will remember the place she held in their lives and the memories they shared with her.

Angela is survived by her two sons, Steven and Mitchell; her daughter-in-law, Allie; her granddaughters, Avaree and Kennedy; her older sister, Debra Kaiser and older brother, Kevin (Christy) Lehman and other extended family members and loved ones.

The family would also like to extend a special and heartfelt thank-you to Angela’s cousin, Jackie Robertson, who cared for her during the final months of her life. The kindness, compassion, and time Jackie gave to Angela will never be forgotten, and her family is deeply grateful.

Angela’s life was not without its struggles. Like many people, she faced challenges that were not always visible to those around her. Through it all, there remained a sweetness in her heart and a love for the people who meant the most to her. She was a woman with her own battles, her own imperfections, and her own story.

She will be remembered not for the difficulties she faced, but for the moments of happiness, the love she gave, her appreciation for the outdoors, and the memories she leaves behind.

May she finally find the peace that life sometimes made difficult to find.
