Andrew Meyer Jr.

Andrew Meyer Jr., 89, of Holland Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Northwood Nursing Home in Jasper. Junior was born on January 6, 1932 to Andrew Meyer Sr. and Bertha Meyer. He married Vilena Rose Hendrey of Spurgeon on November 21, 1953 who preceded him in death in 2018.
Junior was a Holland High School basketball player named to the most all- sectional teams "3" and eighth in career points. Cabby O'neal claimed that Junior and his teammate, Mel Bolling, were the best guards his Jasper team faced.
Junior is survived by his four children, Kimberly, Rick, Brenda, and Valerie; 6 grandchildren, Zach, Stacia, Isaac, Anders, Austin and Eli; and 2 great grandchildren, Damien and Oliver.
