William Haan Jr.

William Haan Jr., 72, of Louisville passed away peacefully in his home after a long battle with cancer and congestive heart failure on July 26, 2022.
He was born on May 2, 1950 in a small town outside of Morgantown, WV to the late William Haan Sr. and Betty (Curry) Haan. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Parrish) Haan in 1981. He is survived by his son, Michael Haan and his granddaughter, Harper Haan.
To his friends he was known as Big Willie, to his granddaughter he was Pop Pop and to his son he was Dad. He had a love for his motorcycles and would frequently attend the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and Daytona Bike Week and many other local and regional meets until his health no longer allowed that passion to continue. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
A celebration of his life will be held at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 201 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40214 on Saturday August 6, 2022 from 1:00PM - 4:00PM.
