Penny Sue Gallimore

November 10, 1961 — September 22, 2021

Penny Sue Gallimore, 59, of Radcliff, KY passed away on September 22nd, 2021. She was born in Lansing, MI at Saint Lawrence hospital on November 10th, 1961. She passed from poor health and chronic illness.
She was a wonderful single mother, who loved to cook, but hated the dishes. Some of her best meals were her nachos, roast beef tacos, and lasagna. Before her health took a turn for the worse, she used to enjoy playing guitar and singing, karaoke, playing pool, horseback riding, swimming, and being around family and friends the most. Her final days were filled with a lot of pain, but she was being taken care of by her eldest son. She delighted in the more simple things. She enjoyed a good comedy, a crisp Pepsi, a delicious meal, her dog by her side, and a freshly lit cigarette.
She went through hell, emotionally and physically. Her love for her family was never-ending, even when it wasn't reciprocated. She was continuously sarcastic, stubborn, and funny.
Penny was preceded in death by her father, Cliff, her aunt Dorothy and uncle Lucky, her life partner Gerald McNamara, and her dog Sophie.
Penny is survived by her loving mother Marilyn, her two sons Matt and Tyler, many nieces, nephews and cousins, brothers Randy, Ricky and Richard, sisters Sherry and Debbie, grandchildren Alexis, Alivia, Madison, Jhett, and her dog Lucy. These were a few of the people out of many she held close to her heart. She will be dearly missed. The family is happy she is no longer suffering. She has finally found peace, and she is finally with those whom she has missed.
There will be a memorial pot luck dinner for Penny along with some live music. All are welcome, but if you can bring a dish to pass, please do so. November 13th, 2021 at VFW Post 6132 3104 W St Joseph St, Lansing, MI 48917 4:00pm-9:00pm
