Patti L. Horak

Patti (Pat) L. Horak, 52, of Bloomington, Indiana, was tragically killed in a car accident Thursday, December 1, 2022. She was born in New Castle, Indiana on October 26, 1970, the daughter of Jeraldine (Laymance) Hinson and Horace Alcorn. Patti was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents and many special fur-babies over the years.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 20 years, Daniel Godfrey, their fur-babies, her mother and father, and brother, Larry Alcorn of Henderson, NV. She will also be greatly missed by her close friends.
Patti operated her own successful business for more than 20 years and attended New Castle Chrysler High School. She was an incredibly hard worker, and her clients appreciated her greatly. She loved visiting her family in Nevada. Her heart, however, always belonged to animals; she was kind and compassionate to every animal she encountered.
No services are planned in the near future. The family plans to honor Patti in the spring with an intimate celebration of her life. The family also requests that those who wish to express their sympathy consider donating to the Bloomington Animal Shelter in her name (3410 S. Walnut St., Bloomington, IN, 47403) She would have been delighted that animals were being helped.
