LaNiece Nicole Moore, 35, passed away February 1, 2023. She was born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, to Linda and Gregory Moore on December 29, 1987. She grew up with one brother, playing sports and enjoying her childhood. She attended Lincoln Way East High School (class of 2006), where she developed great friendships and was on the track team as a sprinter. She recalled this time of her life fondly.
In 2011, LaNiece gave birth to a daughter named Laila. It was one of the highlights of her life, and she spoke highly of how proud she was. Motherhood was a learning curve in the beginning, but LaNiece was patient and diligent. There wasn't a day that passed where she didn't brag about Laila. Some of her interests were listening to music, staying up to date with current events in the world, and going out with friends. She was always on the internet keeping up with friends and former classmates on social media. LaNiece always cared and wanted to stay connected to her past.
She was a unique mother, daughter and sister. LaNiece was a very passionate person who always wore her heart on her sleeve. There are great things about being honest and direct in order to stay true to your inner self. She will be truly missed as a special kind of individual. ​
