John Preston Havens

John Preston Havens, 45, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Albert B. Chandler Hospital, Lexington, surrounded by family. He was born on October 11, 1977 in Xenia, Ohio to the late Richard Havens and Betty Jean Perdue. Survivors include, fiance, Ashley Caroline Sloas; sons, Jonathan (Patrica) Havens, Cory Preston Havens, and one stepson, Elisha Sloas; Daughters, Sierra Brook Havens and "Rozz" Abigail Caroline Havens; Sister, Angel Pearl Havens; Stepbrother, Billy Perdue. He had 4 grandchildren, Madilynn Everlee Havens, Jensen Ryan Dulen, David Brewer, and Gage norris. He also had many niece's and nephew's who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, William Havens.
He was a great father who loved the outdoors, fishing and spending time with his family anytime he could. He loved to make people laugh and smile with his sense of humor and alway had the best taste in music and loved to play the gutair and sing.
He will be dearly missed. We love you and rest easy…until we meet again.
