John Michael Meadlo

John Meadlo was born in Brazil Indiana on the 6th of September in 1961 and passed away on the 7th of October in 2023. Little is known about his childhood though he was estranged from his family at an early age. In his later years he was a loner and a very private person. Due to the loss of his wife and child in a tragic accident he removed himself from society and interacted with very few people. He had worked in various jobs in food service and the airline industry, but spent his later years on the Indiana University campus where he liked to meet interesting people. He could usually be found in the university library reading and watching movies. Though not formally educated past high school he was very knowledgeable about the world due to his love of movies. Though he liked some better than others, he watched everything to the point that he had the equivalent of a well-rounded education. At the end of his life, one of his caregivers mistook him for a college professor.
John had been in the air force stationed in the Philippines. The experience broadened his outlook and give him an interest in politics. He had strong opinions about world issues but he was also open-minded and willing to reconsider his views in the face of new information.
John was very dignified and fastidious; though he lived rough, he was always very well groomed. Although he was in great pain and disappointed to walk on at age 60, John Meadlo faced his death with dignity and grace.
