Devon Patrick Washburn

Devon Patrick Washburn, 49, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky unexpectedly passed away on July 21, 2023. Devon is survived by two sons, Chase and Braum, three siblings; April (Mike) Carnes, Steve Washburn, and Drew Wilson, two nieces; Katie and Jennifer, and many beloved friends. On January 7, 1974, Devon was born in Portland, Oregon to Fonda Gribner and Henry F. Washburn.
Devon was an avid reader, a creative artist and writer, and an imaginative thinker. In 2001 and 2011, Devon and Kathy Turner celebrated the birth of each son. Devon was a proud father, a playful father, and loved his two sons and family very much. For those who knew Devon, knew him for his sense of humor, his laughter, playing D & D and video games, and his passion for connections.
A memorial service is not immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones in the future when the memorial is scheduled. Following the memorial celebration, according to Devon's wishes, his ashes will be will be scattered off the coast of Oregon.
